ABOUT ABOUT

Indy Eleven fans of all ages in invited to help the team celebrate its second birthday and try to break an official Guinness World Record in the process prior to the team's next home game on Saturday, April 25 vs. the Carolina RailHawks at IUPUI's Carroll Stadium.

NOTE: You MUST have a game ticket to enter Carroll Stadium in order to participate in this special event! Tickets for the April 25th contest are going fast but still remain, and can be purchased for as little as $10 by clicking here or by calling 317-685-1100 (Mon.-Fri., 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. ET).  In addition, fans can take advantage of a special $79 Family 4-Pack offer – featuring four Endline section tickets, hot dogs, sodas and bags of chips – by visiting http://fourpack.indyeleven.com

To get fans in the doors early on the 25th, the first 5,000 fans that enter the stadium gates upon opening at 6:00 p.m. will receive an alternate jersey-inspired Rally Towel, courtesy of Community Health Network Sports Medicine.

As part of the pregame festivities, starting at 6:30 p.m., the first 1,100 fans that RSVP online via this page will be asked to gather in the south end of the East Lawn to try and break the world record for the most candles being blown out simultaneously (currently at 841).

After lighting their candles en masse at 6:40 p.m., fans will be asked to keep them ablaze until they see their “Boys in Blue” emerge from the locker room tunnel – to the accompaniment of the “Happy Birthday” song performed by the Red Card Regiment Rally Band.  After blowing out their candles at the end of the song (and breaking the record!), fans will be able to swap their candle for a mini-cupcake.

To assist with the verification process required by the record-keepers at Guinness, you are asked to print off the ticket created by this RSVP so that an accurate count can be kept.  If you would like to serve as a volunteer for the world record attempt, please contact Brackman Rowland at [email protected] by the close of business on Wednesday, April 22.
